Ordering & Shipping

How do I order?

Orders can be submitted online via this website, by email - orders@reutterporcelain.com, by phone toll-free 1-800-426-2548 or by fax (708) 429-4244. Submitted online orders are normally shipped within 24-48 hours unless otherwise noted. If you have a rush order, please contact our office for further instructions before submitting your order. Shopping carts never expire so all items added will remain in your cart indefinitely until you complete your delete your shopping cart. Ordering is secured by the latest SSL encryption technology during checkout process. In other words, your credit card information is safe! If you select an alternate shipping destination other than your billing information, this address must reside within the USA, its territories or select countries. Products pictured in our catalogs that do not appear on our website are either discontinued, available by factory special order or have not been updated for website purchase.

What about out of stock items?

If a product shows "Out of Stock" you may order it knowing it will go on back-order. You will not be formally charged for any back-ordered product(s) until that product is physically shipped from our warehouse. Individual back-ordered product(s) will be shipped under separate cover upon receipt into our warehouse. Back-orders may be held up to 3 months for arriving goods. After this time they will automatically be deleted without prior notification unless otherwise noted by customer. If deleted, it is the customer’s responsibility to reorder this product(s) if necessary. Please feel free to contact our office for tentative arrival date of back-ordered items.

What about drop ship or gift orders?

Drop ship or gift orders (orders being sent in your behalf to different individual) are Ok providing address resides in USA. No international drop ship or gift orders will be accepted. There is no extra charge for this service other than standard shipping costs. Based on our discretion, we have the right to refuse any drop ship order. End customer "Signature Required" will be mandatory for all drop ship orders over $75. Once logged into your account, drop ship customer addresses can be added during checkout or created in advance here. All drop ship orders must be prepaid prior to shipment. If ordering online, select "Yes - This is a Gift or Drop-Ship Order' during checkout on the Cart Payment page to efficiently process your order.

What about special orders?

If ordering from our catalogs or this website requires a special order with one of our factories, prepayment for the complete order total is required. Please allow 2-6 months for delivery on special order merchandise. Product costs will be quoted either ex-factory or FOB our warehouse in Tinley Park, IL. Factory special orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed or returned after shipment for any reason. Please contact our office for complete details on factory special orders.

How do I pay for an order?

If ordering online, we accept most major credit/debit cards including; Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept PayPal as a payment option during checkout. If you wish to pay for your order via Check, Cash or Bank Wire, please contact our office prior to checking out so that we can prepare your order accordingly.

How do I cancel an order?

Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt. Please call us immediately at (708) 429-4455 if you should choose to cancel your order. Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order upon arrival, it will then fall under our standard return policy (returns for reasons other than our shipping error are subject to a 15% restocking fee). Please Note: If you submit a cancellation request by e-mail, we cannot guarantee that your order will be cancelled before it ships. We will confirm all cancellations submitted to us, whether successful or not, via e-mail.


How much is shipping?

At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Shipping Costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charge will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order. With at least one item in your cart, you can also select 'Estimate Shipping' button next to your cart total anytime to view your shipping options and costs.

What about free shipping?

From time to time we will be offering Free Standard Ground Shipping for consumer orders delivered to continental USA destinations. This applies to Standard Ground or Best Way freight options. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method based on cost. Free Shipping does NOT apply to APOs, Hawaii, Alaska, any US Territories or international destinations outside the USA. You can upgrade your shipping method for faster service an additional cost. To take advantage of this offer, you must first select Standard Ground or Best Way shipping method in the Shipping Methods area of your cart. Then enter the appropriate Coupon Code and your freight amount will appear as a credit in your order total. We have a maximum Free Freight allowance of $50 per order.

How long will my order take to ship?

Most orders ship out within 24 business hours of receipt. Ground shipments are delivered to customers Monday thru Friday only (Saturday is included in USPS Priority Mail option). Packages shipped with an Express Shipping option will deliver Monday thru Friday only. In most cases, you will be given the option of upgrading your shipping to an Express Shipping method for faster delivery (such as Three Day, Second Day, or One Day). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received by 12:00 PM CST (Central USA Standard Time) or your order will not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

You may choose to have items shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Standard Ground service. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-5 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during Checkout.

USA - Express One Day (1 Business Day)

You may choose to have items shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via One Day service. You can expect your order to arrive within 1 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the items selected. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received by 12:00 PM CST or your order will not be processed until the following business day.

USA - Express Two Day & Three Day (2-3 Business Days)

You may choose to have items shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via 2 to 3 Day service. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-2 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the items selected. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received by 12:00 PM CST or your order will not be processed until the following business day.

USA - USPS Priority Mail (1-5 Days)

You may choose to have items shipped to the all 50 United States via USPS Priority Mail service. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-5 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during Checkout. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received by 12:00 PM CST or your order will not be processed until the following business day.

Alaska & Hawaii

USA - Standard Ground 7-10 Business Days)

You may choose to have items shipped to Alaska or Hawaii via Standard Ground services. You can expect delivery within 7-10 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the items selected. The total will be provided to you at checkout prior to completing your order.

USA - Express One Day or Two Day (1-2 Business Days)

You may choose to have items shipped to Alaska or Hawaii via One Day or Two Day Express services. You can expect delivery within 1-2 full business days once it leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the items selected. The total will be provided to you at checkout prior to completing your order.

International

International - USPS Priority Mail (1-3 Weeks)

You may choose this option if you are shipping to an International Address. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-3 weeks once it ships from our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Any order being shipped to a destination outside of the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied and collected upon delivery. You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In some regions you should allow additional delivery time due to customs clearance delays.

International - Standard Ground (1-2 Weeks)

You may choose this option if you are shipping to an International Address in select countries. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-2 weeks once it ships from our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Any order being shipped to a destination outside of the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied and collected upon delivery. You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In some regions you should allow additional delivery time due to customs clearance delays.


How do I return a product? 

Our no hassle return policy states that if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it with 30 days of the original invoice date.

Please follow these instructions for product refund...

1)   Call our Customer Service Department (800-426-2548) for instructions to setup the return and to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which will need to be included with the return package.

2)   Prepare your product return in the original shipping carton utilizing the original packing materials if possible.

3)   Pack contents carefully and secure package with strong tape.

4)   Address and ship your package to our warehouse and include RMA number in address.

You may be charged a re-stocking fee of 15% or more if any of the above conditions have not been met.

You will be responsible for both the original shipping charges as well as return shipping charges, unless your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Special ordered or custom-made products (i.e. products not normally carried in our inventory) are subject to the manufacturer's return policies, and may not be approved for return.
